How to split PDF

  1. Select the PDF you want to split.
  2. Type the page ranges, for example 1-3, 4-8, 9, or choose to split every page.
  3. Click Split PDF. Several results are packed into one ZIP file for easy download.

Splitting a PDF helps when you only need to share part of a document, such as one chapter of a book or a single page of a contract. Each range you type becomes a separate PDF, so 1-2, 5 gives you two files: one with pages 1 and 2, and one with page 5.

You can also write an open range such as 10- to mean "page 10 until the end".

Frequently asked questions

How do I extract just one page?

Type the page number, for example 4, and click Split PDF.

Why do I get a ZIP file?

When the result is more than one PDF, we pack them into a ZIP so you only download once.

Does splitting reduce quality?

No. The pages are copied as they are.
